I LOVE the Olympics! I have always been obsessed with the way the whole world comes together for a couple of weeks. The tear-jerker commercials get me every time!
I did a post about the summer Juegos Olímpicos in Spanish Class as well.
My favorite winter Olympics sport has always been figure skating. I even went to see Olympic Gold winner Oksana Baiul skate in person in Chicago in the Nutcracker on Ice 😉
Another favorite memory watching Olympic figure skating was my maternity leave in February 2014. My tiny son napped on my chest while we watched hours of the figure skating live stream from Russia narrated by Tara Lipinski & Johnny Wier. This was not the polished version they show hours later at Primetime, but the unfiltered queens live reactions to every routine.
