I do not know about you, but I LOVE the Olympics! I have always been obsessed with the way the whole world comes together for a couple of weeks. Those tear-jerker commercials get me every time! My favorite summer Olympics sport has always been gymnastics. I even spent my own money as a kid to buy a hardcover coffee table book about the 1996 Magnificant Seven. IYKYK
Teaching Los Juegos Olímpicos 2024
We are in luck since summer 2024 is a summer Olympics year. Los Juegos Olímpicos makes the perfect relevant connection to any Spanish sports unit.
Teach about the Summer Olympics as a fun End of School Year in Spanish Class activity or unit. Or if you will be in school before August 11th, you can teach about them in real-time! If not, Los Juegos Olímpicos would be a perfect first unit of the year for Back to School.
