I know the rain is coming, but today it is ☀️sunny & hit 50, which means in Iowa it is time to get temporarily wild 😂. (& for example of wild my neighbor got out a bag chair to grill). Because you can’t get out the full patio furniture yet, since 5 years ago my memories show me we got 10 inches of snow today & made a snowman. We are cautiously optimistic, while understanding we will probably get snow in April. 😭

Anyway, making seasonal boards was my happy place, even when things in all other areas were not going well. (Making a rainbow paper chain counts as therapy, right?!) What are teacher tasks that make you happy 😊?!

FYI A student assistant made the pieces with a cricut and laminated the parts of the board years ago.

✨In person workshop with some amazing humans who happen to be World Language teachers ✨

Surprise snow this morning (we know in NE Iowa it should have expected it) made for a smaller group than planned. But, it also meant that everyone could collaborate & connect in a way that can be harder with a big group. It is so fun to collaborate when you have master teachers sharing like Christina, Jim, Kathy, Kelly, Liz, Kirsten, Ali, Emily, Melissa & more!

A big thanks to the @keystoneaea for supporting World Language teachers & offering this full day opportunity free of charge.

And an extra special thanks to the fabulous WL coordinator & hostess with the mostess Shauna. (The working mom who organized everything plus baked monster cookies for us 🍪💗)
