This el imperfecto speaking activity was designed to get Spanish students talking after studying and answering basic personal questions containing the Super 7 high frequency verbs in the Imperfect tense Spanish. This communicative activity in the imperfect tense would be great for Spanish 2, Spanish 3, or Spanish 4 to talk about their childhood in Spanish for a unit on Cuando era niño.

See why 65+ teachers have given this el imperfecto review 5 stars
- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love anything that provides input, allows for output in a low-stress way, and is personalized for my students. This resource fit the bill for all of it! I particularly love the synthesis where they have to write in another perspective about their classmates. I love that they are getting exposure to yo, tú, and él/ella forms in this resource! We even used it as a discussion to throw in the ellos/as and nosotros forms because I participated as well. Simple but VERY meaningful resource! Thank you! – Reilly F
- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s always nice to find activities that practice verb conjugation and meaning / comprehension but aren’t the typical drill and practice style! My kids really like the “find someone who…” activities because it gets them up and moving around the room. I like the follow-up activities for practicing sentences / conjugation.
